Details:

MTCM (Middleton Town Centre Management Co) will be hosting Oktoberfest 2016. The event will consist of two micro breweries, four live bands and a seventies soul DJ and compere throughout the whole of the day. A bar will be set up by MTCM to compliment the micro brewery sales.

We have also arranged for the provision of two food vendors, including traditional german hotdogs and also the catering van which stands three days a week at Middleton Market.

Oktoberfest was first developed in 2013 by MTCM to target a demographic that we haven't concentrated on before. After the success of the previous two years, the event has now established itself and it sits alongside our other annual events in Middleton. The aim of the event has not changed and is to aid Middleton Town Centre in becoming a destination for leisure and recreation as well as a shopping destination. The idea behind the Sunday Event is to also boost footfall on a usually quiet day.
